Automatic Transmissions
Circle Transmission offers transmission and transaxle rebuilds for many domestic and some Foreign vehicles. At this time we do not work on European Vehicles.
Automatic Transmissions Rebuilt by Circle Transmission include a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty.
Standard Transmissions
Circle Transmission offers transmission and transaxle rebuilds for many domestic and some Foreign vehicles. At this time we do not work on European Vehicles.
Standard Transmissions Rebuilt by Circle Transmissions include 90 day warranty.
Remanufactured Transmissions
Circle Transmission can purchase and install Remanufactured Transmissions from various vendors including, but not limited to Jasper Engines and Transmissions, Certified Transmission, Great Lakes Powertrain, H&A (Honda and Acura), Nissan OEM, Ford OEM, Chrysler OEM, Dodge OEM.
Warranties vary by vendor but the standard warranty is 3 Year, 100,000 miles for non-commercial and 18 month, 18,000 mile warranty for commercial vehicles.
Diagnostic Service
Circle Transmission offers transmission diagnostics including test drive, computer diagnostics, and visual inspection for most domestic and foreign vehicle.
Clutch Replacement
Circle Transmission offers clutch replacement on most domestic and foreign vehicles.
Clutches can be purchased from various vendors such as LUK, South Bend, Exceedy, to name a few. But can also be purchased from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as well.
PCM / TCM Programming
Most Modern transmissions require programming after transmission replacement. Therefore, Circle Transmission offers OEM programming for FORD, CHRYSLER / DODGE, GM and NISSAN (mobile from Nissan) vehicles.
ECM / TCM Tunning
PCM / TCM tuning is common place in many transmission shops to help prolong the life of new or remanufactured transmission.
Circle Transmission Currently offers PCM - ECM tunes for various FORD, CHRYSLER and GM vehicles.
Tune files are obtained from HP_Tuners. As more tunes become available, we will update this site to reflect the changes and additions.
The tune files we have are not designed as performance tunes, they are designed with transmission durability in mind.

ABOUT
Circle Transmission is a small independent Automotive Transmission Repair Facility located in Shenandoah Junction WV offering a wide range of services for both foreign and domestic vehicles.
Jim's Circle Transmission was established in 1992, by Jim Labondano, and began business in the city of Ranson on the Ranson Circle. Hence, the name Circle Transmission.
In 1993, Jim Circle Transmission relocated to Shenandoah Junction, WV and has remained in operation through present day.
For the past thirty-four years, we have focused all of our attention and resources on transmissions and transmissions alone. This central focus has allowed us to stay relevant in this ever-changing and technically challenging field.
When we began this journey, vehicles could be checked by adjusting a cable or performing diagnostics with a simple vacuum gauge. Thirty-four years later, we are dealing with vehicles with twenty-plus modules, controller area networks, collision midigation systems, and transmission control systems so complex it takes hours and education to gain an understanding of how they work and what is required to diagnose and repair them.
We have had the pleasure of working with literally thousands of customers and many local businesses over the years.
In 2026, Jim's Circle Transmission restructured and moved under Circle Transmission LLC with a dba for Jim's Circle Transmission. The purpose of the restructuring is to relieve Jim, now 84 years of age, of many of the burdens associated with day-to-day operations. We tried to make this transition as seamless as possible for our customers. Therefore, everything has and will remain the same.

All Remanufactured Transmissions require a deposit for the cost of the transmission less tax.
Rebuilds or repairs require payment in full upon completion.
Transmission parts ordered for customers require a payment in full before any parts can be ordered.
